A new plan for a new investment
Rzeszów City Council on July 21 this year. will discuss changes to the spatial development plan in the Science and Technology Park „Rzeszów-Dworzysko”, run by the self-government of the Rzeszów poviat. The change is related to the million investment planned by the County Office in this area.
The new investment will be built on an area of over 7 ha. Advanced talks are currently underway between the Poviat Starosty in Rzeszów and the investor, the production company.
– The scale of this project is evidenced by the fact that the investor intends to employ 350 people in Dworzysko and build a facility with an area of 35 thousand square meters here. sqm. This is great news for the inhabitants of our poviat, because it means new jobs and new technologies that will enrich the economic offer of our region – says Józef Jodłowski, Rzeszów Staroste.
Investment for PLN 300 million
Waldemar Pijar, secretary of the Rzeszów Poviat, main coordinator of the PNT „Rzeszów – Dworzysko” project, says: We estimate that the amount of this investment may be as high as PLN 200-300 million. The investor wants to build a large production hall in this place, which would be erected on two plots currently separated by an access road. Therefore, it is necessary to remove this road from the plan and merge both plots into one area. An extraordinary session of the Rzeszów City Council will take place next Tuesday (July 21), during which the project concerning the change of the development plan for this area will be considered.
The new investment is to be built in the north-west part of the Miłocin estate.
– The purpose of changing the plan is to establish the principles of development and land development taking into account new needs and conditions for investment areas. This change will significantly improve the investment conditions in this area by increasing the area of land possible for development, and will also be adapted to the technological needs of the new production investment – says Krzysztof Jarosz, director of the Promotion Department of the Poviat Starosty in Rzeszów.
PNT „Rzeszów – Dworzysko” is an attractive investment area with an area of 83.42 ha. It is fully developed, close to the A4 motorway, the S19 expressway, the Rzeszów-Jasionka international airport and the E30 Germany-Poland-Ukraine railway line. So far, 18 companies have invested in this area. Ultimately, approx. 3,000 jobs will find work here. people.
