Another well-known brand launches the company in PNT „Rzeszów-Dworzysko”, in which 60 people will find employment.
TW Metals is part of the American group O’Neal Industries with headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama, with 80 subsidiaries around the world. The company specializes in modern logistics solutions related to the distribution of specialized metals and the provision of production services, so that materials can reach the customer’s production line as semi-processed products. TW Metals has been on the market for over 100 years.
Global brand
– We have several dozen branches around the world. The branch in Poland was established in 2004 and is the second largest branch in Europe, we are directly subordinate to the European headquarters in Southampton UK. The company is developing very rapidly, and the Polish branch is developing particularly rapidly – for 15 years of operations in Poland, the new plant in Dworzysko will be our third location, removals are associated with a steady increase in production – says Monika Ślusarczyk, director of the Polish branch of TW Metals.
The authorities of the Rzeszów Poviat do not hide their satisfaction with the newly opened company in the PNT „Rzeszów Dworzysko”.
– The investment of such a well-known and reputable company in the aviation industry proves that the creation of PNT „Rzeszów-Dworzysko” hit the spot and economically stimulated our region. As the first poviat in Poland, we decided to take such a step and now we are collecting positive effects in the form of further investors known around the world, such as TW Metals – says Józef Jodłowski Starosta Rzeszowski.
TW Metals’ clients are mainly companies from the aviation industry. The company’s offer includes pipes, rods, sheets, plates and profiles made of stainless steel, alloy steel, titanium alloys, nickel and aluminum, which are delivered to customers as semi-finished products that go directly to the customer’s production line. The branch in Poland serves, among others, Pratt & Whitney, and many smaller Polish companies supplying production parts for larger plants in Poland and directly to the largest aircraft manufacturers such as Airbus or Boeing. The company also has customers in the Czech Republic, Germany, Romania and many other countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
They focus on development and innovation
The impact on the selection of the „Rzeszów – Dworzysko ” for investment was determined, among others, by its good location.
– The park is located near the main communication routes, close to the employees’ place of residence. „Dworzysko” is wonderfully prepared to start investment in a short time, which was very important to us. – It was also important for us that we would find ourselves among the companies investing here that focus on development and innovation. The paper-less IT solutions currently implemented in our company allow for comprehensive, automated and fully electronic process support. This system was considered innovative based on the opinion issued by the Rzeszów University of Technology – informs the director Monika Ślusarczyk.
The start of operations in the Dworzysko zone is associated with the dynamic development of TW Metals in Poland, the company’s current headquarters has proved to be too small. The investment in the Dworzysko zone began in 2019 and was completed on time. The Americans have invested 22 million PLN in the new plant and are planning further investments. Currently, the new plant will employ over 60 employees, but there are plans to increase employment.
