Science and Technology Park „Rzeszów-Dworzysko” Dr. Grażyna Gęsicka attracted the attention of the highest self-government authorities of the Małopolskie Voivodeship.
The purpose of the visit was to exchange experiences on the preparation of a similar investment zone in the Małopolskie Voivodeship. The 21-person delegation from Małopolska included, among others, President of the Krakow Technology Park Wojciech Przybylski together with vice-president Łukasz Słoniowski, Starost of the Miechów County, Jacek Kobyłka and the head of the Książ Wielki commune, Marek Szopa. Rzeszów Poviat, which is the owner of PNT Rzeszów Dworzysko im. Dr. Grażyna Gęsicka ”was represented by the Rzeszów Staroste Józef Jodłowski, Member of the County Board Lucyna Sokołowska, County Secretary and Project Coordinator Waldemar Pijar.
First, during the meeting, the guests from Małopolska watched a presentation on the preparation of PNT „Rzeszów-Dworzysko”, then everyone went to the place to get to know the entire infrastructure of the park up close.
-As one of the first poviats in Poland, we decided to make such a serious investment because we realized that a business-friendly place is needed in our region. It turned out to be a hit, because recognized brands in the country and around the world decided to buy plots of land in the Rzeszów Dworzyskok Park, which has a direct impact on the increase in employment in our poviat – says Józef Jodłowski, starost of Rzeszów
Waldemar Pijar, the coordinator of the PNT „Rzeszów-Dworzysko” Project, is of a similar opinion.
– It is no accident that PNT Rzeszów-Dworzysko, owned by the Rzeszów Poviat, is called the economic heart of Podkarpacie. Most of the land has already been sold, and the remaining ones are of great interest to leading companies in the country and in the world. Soon we will inform about the next investors who will conduct business activity in the park. We were happy to share our experience in creating a park with our guests from Małopolska – says the project coordinator.
Local government officials from Małopolska emphasized the excellent preparation of the area for the investment and announced the solutions introduced by the Rzeszów District that they would like to reproduce on their own premises.
PNT „Rzeszów – Dworzysko” is an attractive investment area with an area of 83.42 ha. It is fully developed, close to the A4 motorway, the S19 expressway, the Rzeszów-Jasionka international airport and the E30 Germany-Poland-Ukraine railway line. So far, 18 companies have invested in this area. Ultimately, approx. 3,000 jobs will find work here. people.
